Step 1: Activate the Product Summaries AI Agent

Before using the Product Summaries AI Agent, you need to activate it:

1. Navigate to StoreAgent AI > AI Agents in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Locate Product Summaries AI in the list.
3. Click the red “Inactive” button until it turns green and says “Active”.

Once activated, you can manually generate summaries for your products by editing a product and clicking the “Generate Summary” button in the product short description section.

Step 2: Configure Product Summary Settings

At the moment, this AI agent has one customizable setting:

1. Go to StoreAgent AI > AI Agents and click on Product Summaries AI.
2. Switch to the Settings tab.
3. In the Number of Product Features to Include field, enter how many key features should be highlighted in the summary.
4. Click Save Changes to apply your settings.

This setting allows you to control how detailed the summaries are. For example, setting it to 3 ensures the AI picks the top three product features to showcase.

Step 3: Generate Product Summaries

After activating the agent, you can generate summaries for your products manually.

1. Go to WooCommerce > Products and edit the product you want to summarize.
2. In the Product short description section, locate the “Generate Summary” button.
3. Click the button, and the AI will generate a concise summary based on the product details.
4. Review the generated summary and make any necessary edits before saving.

If you update your product details, you can regenerate the summary to ensure it stays relevant. This enables you to effortlessly maintain accurate and engaging product descriptions.
