How StoreAgent works with other WooCommerce plugins

StoreAgent runs alongside the rest of your WooCommerce stack — it doesn’t replace your wholesale plugin, coupon engine, vendor marketplace, or page builder. This article covers the dedicated integrations StoreAgent ships with, the plugins it plays well alongside without any setup, and the known conflicts you should be aware of.

Dedicated integrations (extra features when both are active)

StoreAgent has built-in integration code for the plugins below. When both StoreAgent and the partner plugin are active, additional features unlock automatically — no separate add-on or licence required.

WooCommerce Wholesale Suite

The WooCommerce Wholesale Prices integration lets the AI Chat Bot return the correct wholesale price for each customer’s wholesale role — so logged-in wholesale customers see their pricing in chat, and retail customers see retail pricing. Both Free (WWP) and Premium (WWPP) editions are supported.

Setup: install Wholesale Prices, then turn on Enable Wholesale Suite Integration under StoreAgent → Settings → AI Chat → Post Types → Products → Integrations. See How to integrate StoreAgent with WooCommerce Wholesale Suite for the full walkthrough.

Advanced Coupons

The Advanced Coupons integration adds the AI Coupon Generator agent — generate fully-configured Advanced Coupons (BOGO rules, cart conditions, scheduling, etc.) from a plain-English prompt. The Coupon Description AI also automatically includes Advanced Coupons’ extra fields when generating coupon descriptions.

Setup: install Advanced Coupons (Free or Premium), then the AI Coupon Generator card appears under StoreAgent → Settings → AI Content Tools → Third Party AI Content Tools. See How to use the AI Coupon Generator agent.

WC Vendors

The WC Vendors integration adds the WC Vendors Product Moderator AI agent — automatically reviews vendor-submitted products against your vendor policy and surfaces decisions on the StoreAgent dashboard. Works with WC Vendors Free and Pro.

Setup: install WC Vendors, then the moderator card appears under Third Party AI Content Tools. See How to use the WC Vendors Product Moderator AI Task.

Plugins StoreAgent plays well alongside

These plugins don’t need any StoreAgent-specific setup, but we hear about them often enough to call out compatibility:

  • Page builders (Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks) — the AI Chat widget appears on storefront pages regardless of which builder rendered them. No extra steps.
  • SEO plugins (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, AIOSEO) — StoreAgent reads product descriptions and meta from WordPress core fields. SEO plugin meta titles/descriptions don’t currently feed into AI Memory; the product content does.
  • Caching plugins (WP Rocket, W3 Total Cache, LiteSpeed Cache) — fine in general, but after changing chat widget settings, clear the cache to ensure the storefront serves the new version. See Troubleshooting StoreAgent Chat widget settings.
  • WooCommerce Subscriptions — subscription products are indexed and answered like any other WooCommerce product. The chat doesn’t currently have subscription-specific intent handling, but it correctly returns subscription pricing.
  • Product Add-Ons / Custom Fields (WC Product Add-ons, ACF, Meta Box) — to surface custom field values in chat answers, add the meta keys under StoreAgent → Settings → AI Chat → Post Types → Products → Metadata Keys to Include. See How StoreAgent Chat accesses your product data.
  • Translation plugins (WPML, Polylang, TranslatePress) — StoreAgent’s UI strings are translation-ready, but currently the AI Memory indexes the default-language product content. Translated content can be indexed by setting per-agent Language overrides on each AI Task. For multi-language stores, plan to validate chat responses on each locale.

Known conflicts

JavaScript optimisers that combine or defer scripts

Optimisation plugins that aggressively combine or defer JavaScript (Autoptimize “aggregate JS”, Asset CleanUp’s defer-all setting, WP Rocket’s “Combine JavaScript files”) can occasionally break the chat widget’s initialisation. The widget loads as a single script that registers itself once on DOMContentLoaded; if it gets bundled with unrelated scripts that error out, the widget never initialises.

Fix: add the StoreAgent chat widget script to the optimiser’s exclusion list. The script filename includes storeagent-ai-for-woocommerce — most optimisers accept partial-match exclusion strings.

Security plugins blocking REST endpoints

Some security plugins (Wordfence, iThemes Security in aggressive mode) block POST requests to /wp-json/saai/v1/* by default, preventing the chat from saving messages or AI Tasks from running. If the chat widget shows errors and your error log shows 403s on saai endpoints, allowlist the saai/v1 namespace in the security plugin.

Plugins that override WooCommerce templates aggressively

The Product Description AI button on coupon and product edit screens (in WP Admin) attaches itself to standard WooCommerce edit-screen hooks. Plugins that rewrite the WooCommerce admin UI from scratch can occasionally hide it. See the troubleshooting section in each per-agent article for the specific fallback selectors.

Reporting compatibility issues

If you find a plugin not listed here that conflicts with StoreAgent — or works particularly well — file a support ticket with the plugin name, version, and a short description of the behaviour. We track these and add them to this page over time.
